In 2018, we purchased a beautiful Volvo V70, a car we were genuinely proud of thanks to its excellent maintenance and complete service history. Unfortunately, after just four months, something unpleasant happened.
Someone failed to pay attention and did not give way at a roundabout, resulting in a collision. The front bumper, headlight, and front fender were damaged.
Although it was never the intention, we suddenly had another project car on our hands in a very short time. It’s always frustrating when something happens to your car, but we chose to see it as an opportunity to put our wrenching skills to use once again and restore the V70 to top condition.
Attentive readers may notice that the architecture in the photos looks a bit unusual. That’s because the repair work took place in Norway, at the workshop of a good friend of ours. We originally met him during one of our trips to Spain with the LT35, and this repair turned into yet another great automotive memory.
