Recently, we upgraded the MX-5 with a set of adjustable coilovers. The car was already fitted with lowering springs, but we weren’t fully satisfied with how it looked or drove.
Good preparation makes all the difference. Alongside the suspension kit, we had our QuickJack Mini lift ready to go. This compact lift turned out to be a game changer: within minutes, the Miata was safely and securely in the air—far more convenient than using a regular floor jack that needs to be repositioned after every strut.
After the successful upgrade, the Miata not only looks better, but it also drives noticeably better. The ride feels more controlled and better balanced overall.
Best of all? No setbacks or frustration during the installation. This MX-5 is in excellent condition with a very low mileage—not a single seized or rusted bolt in sight.
