The T5 arrived at the garage after being offered together with an automatic T5 as scrap cars for €450, or €225 per car.
Unfortunately, the automatic T5 was beyond saving. However, this manual T5 has great potential and can be turned into a beautiful car once again.
Over the coming months, I’ll be working on this project with a clear goal in mind: taking the car on holiday in the summer of 2014, and of course making a lap of the Nürburgring Nordschleife in August.
The start of a new project—and an exciting one at that.
