A decent little unit overall. The only real downside is that, without modifications, it continues to run on the constant 12V power wire. If you’re like me and go away on holiday for a week, you may return to a completely flat battery when you want to head out again after a few days.
In short, I would definitely recommend this as a replacement for the original radio, but make sure it’s wired correctly. If you don’t, there’s a good chance you’ll be reminded of this blog post sooner than you’d like.
